Every learner is assessed during the workshop through two structured activities. The instructor observes each learner against the standards for each learning outcome listed below. The course evaluation is a separate survey of your experience and is not used to assess learning.
Group Task Analysis: In small groups, learners break down an assigned magic trick into the skills it requires, name the therapeutic domains it addresses, and match it to client goals.
Peer-to-Peer Presentation: Each learner presents a magic trick to peers and explains the theoretical framework behind it, its therapeutic benefits, and a type of client it suits.

After the small groups complete their task analysis, the full group comes back together to discuss what each group determined. During this discussion, the instructor confirms accurate answers, corrects errors, and learners record notes and corrections in their workbooks so every learner leaves with accurate information for each learning outcome.
